Young mother Danielle is the rare and lucky recipient of a double hand transplant. She gradually gains control over her donor hands. While her family and doctor are delighted for her, Danielle starts to realise that the new hands will never be her own.

Biography

Stefanie studied biophysics and lived in Japan for two years before entering the Netherlands Film Academy. Her graduation short Clan and short Harbour both premiered at Locarno International Film Festival’s Pardi di Domani International Competition in 2016 and 2017. Her latest work Eyes on the Road premiered in the same competition this year. Stefanie’s films have shown at festivals around the world, in Dutch cinemas and on Dutch national television. She was a participant at Berlinale Talents 2019 and a Talent en Route at the Netherlands Film Festival 2019. She is currently developing her first feature film.
